Power's "A Problem from
Hell" Lemkin Award Winner
The Lemkin Award Committee of ISG announced
on March 19 that Samantha Power's book, "A Problem from Hell:"
America and the Age of Genocide (Basic Books), was the winner of the second
biennial Raphael Lemkin Award for the best book on genocide and its prevention
published in english in 2001-2002. Ms. Power will speak at a special
award ceremony about her book following the ISG annual meeting in May (date to
be announced later--see www.isg-iags.org).
