| In the 20th
century, genocides and state mass murder have killed more people than
have all wars. |

Join the Week of Prayer and Action for Darfur On an average day in Darfur, tens of thousands of innocent civilians face the threat of torture, starvation, rape, and uprooting from their homes, families, and livelihoods. As human beings, we are called to stand against injustice. Today, our collective strength is urgently needed to end the genocide in Darfur, in western Sudan.
That is why the Institute for the Study of Genocide is calling on you to participate in the Week of Prayer and Action for Darfur, April 2nd 9th. Can we count on you to join? Click here today to register for this important initiative. When President Bush came into office he wrote of the devastating genocide in Rwanda: "Not on my watch." But right now in Darfur millions have been uprooted and hundreds of thousands
killed systematically by an armed militia the very type of genocide
President Bush pledged to stop. It is only with the leadership of the United States that we can truly make a difference and protect Darfurs citizens. Won't you join us? Click here to participate in the Week of Prayer and Action for Darfur. Once again we are being weighed in the balance. We can either speak out and become agents of justice, or remain silent and be rendered irrelevant. We hope you will declare in word and deed, Not on our watch! |
