Support Senate Resolution 495
"Darfur Accountability Act"
8 U.S. Senators introduced a resolution this week calling the U.S. and
U.N.
to action on Darfur.
Itās up to you to get your Senators to support this important piece of
legislation!
Take a couple minutes today to call your Senators and ask them to
co-sponsor and otherwise support S. 495, the Darfur Accountability Act.
The
bill is currently before the Committee on Foreign Relations.
Passage of the comprehensive act will compel the imposition of intensive
sanctions on Sudan and will compel support from both the U.S. and U.N. for
expanding and deploying an African Union peacekeeping force to intercede
to
end the genocide.
This action is critical. Please forward widely ö to friends, family &
